If Lihir are willing to pay around $5.50 for EQI, what is ALD worth? EQI produce less gold than ALD, though they do have some prospects in WA. ALD have some excellent prospects in the nearby islands as well.

I hope (Drunk - barricking on your behalf ;-) )if there is a takeover they don't do a book build using 90 day trading average, as is described in the EQI announcement. If they do it will mean we will get around 30% on 70c. I think that would seriously undervalue ALD.

Two questions someone may be able to answer for me though, why is the gold pour around 6k OZ, though production is 13k OZ. Shouldn't they be around the same figure, or is there a delay between production and pouring? And, where has ALD sold the gold it poured? I haven't seen anything in the announcements on the price they achieved.
