Yes I agree, nmh.
Deferring Profits only delays point of tax payment, unless your aim is to make Losses which would be crazy. Making a Profit should logically be the goal even if it does mean paying some Tax on it. 60% of something positive is better than 100% of nothing ... or even worse 60% of a loss.
