Malleability and ductility mainly. Aluminium prone to fatigue fracture. Metallurgical alterations to reduce its fatigue issues (like duralumin which funnily enough is made by adding copper to aluminium among other things) make it more susceptible to corrosion (mostly due to the magnesium for anyone who thinks that didn'tmake sense). If there is a large scale replacement for copper in electrical wire and motors, IMO its decades away and will probably be something outside of the metallic elements on the periodic table.
