I note that Hole 1126 has passed without comment - 31 metres from 70 metres @ .9 gpt.
Setting aside the .9 gpt it seems to me that this result is not too shabby - 31 metres of ore above 100 metres - by far the best width I can recall above 100 metres in this series.
Was hole 1126 just a random one off or did they nick something juicy - by my back of the envelope calculations hole 1126 was at the eastern edge of an area of interest.
Are more holes planned, reasonably adjacent to hole 1126, in an arc West to South of hole 1126?
I also note that many holes were drilled - prior to late 2005 - in an arc East through South to West of hole 1126.
Are the drill results of these holes - particularly the ones in the arc West to South of hole 1126 available to the company?
I am told that the trick with digging an open pit is to end up with not too much of a negative cash position - after sale of the near surface gold found during the digging of the pit.
In this context I wonder if hole 1126 might possibly be pointing the way forward.
I note that Hole 1126 has passed without comment - 31 metres...
