a holiday to the TSX is reassuring ..... their markets down and AEF on big volume either up or slightly down... I am "hoping" that we are at the floor of a trading range aND HENCE HAVE SEEN THE LOWS:-

I keep telling myself that behind the market emotions there is:-

>world economic growth thus more oil needed and stable to up oil prices....$90 to $100
>AUT is Texas... no political risk
>a US desire to be less depenednt on north africa .. a reason to keep drilling
>80 holes by the end of 2011
>current holes already flowing to market
>the company is earning money
>in a fabulous area and specifically the sweet spot of the area
>a fabulous operator in Hilcorp
>each hole as the years go on can generate a fan pattern of holes at that depth and at that hole
>each hole than can be replicated at a shallower depth into the Austin Chalks for further recovery of oil and gas in a separte stratigraphic structure to the shales
>spacings could be reduced from 80 to 20 acres
> by acquistion of further ground and all the above multipliers, the future for AUT MUST be secure !

OK , so this is the stae of my thinking at this point in time ....a non-tecnical , no maths, no understanding of EUR/EV/boep ................hope for this company

is it all a bit naive ????? and should I thus maintain a degree of scepticism... what could go wrong ?? anything?
