I don't think there is a difference between the two for the applications we are talking about.. However, HCT was forced to retract a statement for not clarifying its testing against a surrogate virus on 20th April. I don't know where '*********' gets its data from but if this was a statement by ZNO then it is surely subject to the same requirements for clarification? To my knowledge, neither ZNO or HCT have tested against the human variant of COVID19. This is, in my opinion, irrelevant for their applications but the point is that HCT got dragged over hot coals for the same statement?
