I saw an interesting headline on ABC News today but only just had the time now to follow up to see what I could find.

Looks like LDX really needs to come up with the goods as Hologic is phasing out the sales of its current test.

Hologic, the United States-based medical technology company that manufactures fFN tests, has stopped making the product, blaming "variable supply" of raw materials used to make the device.

"It is with regret that, despite considerable review and extensive remedial actions over the past two years, we announce the end of sales of rapid fFN [tests]," the company wrote in a letter to its customers in July.

"As of September 30, Hologic will cease sales [of rapid fFN tests] across [Australia and New Zealand] and other markets … no new orders will be accepted."
