Is there any comment LDX can provide relating to the above article and whether this is going to have any impact on the TLIIQ upgrade being developed under the partnership?
Hologic has made a decision to cease sales of their “international” fFN test, with the Perilynx analyser and 10Q test.
This has no impact on the US version of Hologic’s fFN test, the TLIiQ.
The project that Lumos is working on to upgrade and create a next generation of the US fFN test, TLIiQ is going ahead.
Is it likely that Hologic is withdrawing availability of the current Perilynx test globally in favour of the TLIIQ platform being developed?
That’s a decision for Hologic, so it’s not something Lumos could comment on.
We can confirm that the project on the US version of the product is going ahead, and Hologic is committed to making that investment.
How Hologic approaches the international market for the fFN test in future is up to them.
If they choose to ask Lumos for assistance with their international test, we would be happy to help Hologic with that.
As the FFN deal is a major contributor to Lumos as a "transformative" deal, is this likely to cause any flow on effect to the company in a positive of negative way?
We don’t see any impact on Lumos of Hologic’s decision on the international test.
Lumos did not have any forecast revenue related to the international test in its FY25 forecast or beyond.
There is no impact on the two contracts that Lumos has already signed with Hologic, the IP Agreement for US$10m, and the Development Agreement for US$4.7m.
If you could provide some guidance on this, that would be fantastic.
Thanks,
