I do believe with absolute 100% conviction that there is no such thing as nature or some combination of mindless circumstance that drives evolution and creates life and sentient beings. It is impossible for me to believe that chaos, or natural law driven by nothing but some combination of natural laws could move towards the creation of an atom let alone a universe and all therein.
So yes, I believe absolutely that there is something behind all aspects of existence. Beyond that I do not have a clue.
I believe the evidence of science far more than the ramblings of religion. But still, and without conclusive evidence I have no possible way, despite how hard I have tried, of conceiving existence emerging from an incognisant beginning.

Consciousness itself is the greatest frontier yet to be fully explored. I think science will discover that consciousness itself, our most immediate yet minimally understood experience, points to that cognisant beginning.
