I hear you RM, and assume you are referring to the belief that the existence of all experience is merely the result of neurochemical reactions taking place in the brain and body. The only problem with this belief is that is just that, it's a belief, because there is absolutely no evidence that human consciousness is "created" or "caused" by the neurochemical activity within the brain. There is an obvious relationship between brain and consciousness, but a causal relationship has NOT been established anywhere by anyone. Science, so far has failed at identifying how the brain creates consciousness and therefore our experience. I am a scientist, I teach science at a Uni, and I love what science has taught us. But let's not act like one "belief " (all of this is "just" the result of biochemical reactions) is better than another "belief" (consciousness/existence has a non-temporal and non-physical origin) until the final word is in.
