having lived in qld all my life and knowing personally some of the MP's over the yrs.
I won't buy SMM. unless there is a change of gov (which actualy may be on the cards next yr), SMM won't be able to mine. the price is going up on trend and expectation .. no fact at all.
i did hold SMM last yr, made a profit. but have decided not to this time.
If ALP comes out with a NO, the price will fall quickly.
