Planning a new build at the moment . Have been interested in including some home automation - lights , hvac , audio/vis , security and all accessible remotely . Previously cbus was one of the only choices although it is crazy expensive imo .
Recently Z wave technology has become available . A lot cheaper , very customisable , able to retrofitted etc . I have been looking at the Fibaro product in particular .
Anyone have any experience with home automation or any ideas/ suggestions ?
