The marketing, the government the media in general push the theme of buy, buy, buy
So almost everyone is living beyond their means, but for what ?
New toys, not a better lifestyle
We do not have to be mean BUT, why be pushed into getting new stuff all the time, going out to eat, holidays o/seas every year, none of these things are guaranteed to give you a better or happier life
What happened to the family budget ?
My lounge suite, top quality when bought still looks like new, used every day and cleaned once per month to keep the leather in good cond,
Picked up a friend who had dropped their new car for service, she immediately commented on how nice the ride was and how comfortable it felt, as a twenty year old Volvo it is still like new
Buy good quality and care for it and there is no need to constantly buy new stuff all the time
More than half the people have virtually zero money in the bank, yet many are on a very high income, so rather than totally blame economic situations for your financial problems have a hard look closer to home
Finally we are put on this earth to procreate, a process which has been made enjoyable, because if we don't our civilization will be extinguished
