    Yeh, we are hard core ha ha.
    Started with solid clay, so it has taken 10 years to make enough soil for an area 15 x 20 metres.
    We have 20 4m x 2m raised beds 300mm high.
    We get lawn clippings and whatever else is available, fruit etc from a contractor and use it for worm food. The worms make the soil.
    We are harvesting all year round.
    This years crop was/is 4 types of potatoes, 3 types of tomatoes 2 types of pumpkins, 4 types of garlic, 3 types of peas, 2 types of beans, pickling onions, red onions, spring onions, 2 types of carrots, red beets, capsicums, asparagus, 2 types silver beet, corn, oka, zucchini, cucumbers, gherkins, swede, parsnip, 2 types cabbage, broccoli, radishes, 2 types of lettuces, raspberries, strawberries, silvenberries, plus all the usual herbs including brahmi.
    Out of all this we make our own sauces, relishes, pickled onions, salsa and tomato soup. we freeze peas, beans and capsicums. We dry what we can. We have our own chooks, so fresh eggs all year round. The roosters go into the freezer and into the home made soup which goes into the freezer as well which reminds me, we need a bigger freezer.
    We harvest our own water for the garden, couldn't afford to pay for it!
    We live out of out garden as much as possible. The less chemicals the better for us.
    yeh, guess we are hard core!
