Not surprised at all, i don't want a 30-40 year noose around my neck for a house thats just not upto standard and worth all those years of slavery when i can rent a negative geared investment and a quarter the cost for the same result of a roof over my head.
I got a call from some developer rubicon maybe? asking if owned a house i was like yeeaaah i sure do! (not even good bye just hungup).
You can create as much product (cash) to try and peddle but if no-one wants it well no one wants it, easy credit .. i think people have all realized its just not worth it.
