    In Australia I think the correlation to the ecnomy has become very strong, house prices peaked at the top, were dropping relatively quickly then bottomed as stimulous measures kicked in and have now weakened as have various parts of the economy (understanding tha employment is a lagging indicator that isn't struggling yet).
