    As I understand you need to pay for a report on a house sale from a government agency where they collect your detals, something like $1.25 if I remember correctly. I know this because I have seen the "selling price" of many homes above the listed price and wanted to check it out. These sales didn't occur when the market was anywhere near hot... so onetricky has an argument and is probably 100% correct.

    It's the RE industry being overseen by the RE industry, can you not see that? I posted a relevant section of REIV Vic to MasterStrategist which demonstrates exactly that and I'll find it again.
