Like you I think its possible the BoD will keep the details of the Medsafe response to themselves IF it offers a reasonable chance for a successful submission. I hope they will announce that they have received it it and are considering it.
If the Medsafe response rules out a successful submission then I think the BoD would be obliged to say so without delay, given that it was the whole purpose of the trial.
