I like the way you have investigated the options. I agree it would be highly unlikely that OBJ would try to use 3M as bait. However I do think that OBJ would view an MTA with 3M as a pretty good way of using honey to attract bees, and it worked. Look at the 2 quick announcements that occured after the MTA. These announcements were made by companies that OBJ had been working with for a while.

So after a 6 month extension, what do we have now. Crickets......

I like OBJ believe me. But I see straight through the management. Why because I am in senior management and I have to filter waffle all day. There has not been one ounce of detail contained in any announcement. Even the responses by the management in emails are nothing short of vague. Not even a straight answer about who is paying for the MTA. Well ask a shareholder if they think its an important thing to know. I'd say yes.
