By meaningless, I mean 3M involvement in OBJ. The MTA will result in next to nothing between OBJ and 3M IMO. It will however be the catalyst for other arrangements. Time will tell.

In terms of the other players walking away. There is currently nothing binding so there is no need to walk away. No money has changed hands ( check the revenue column in the quarterly) Why would GSK, FMCG, not sit back, take their time and gain a further appreciation of the environment. Thats what I would do in this situation.

I like your point about observing similar bio's. It does pay to know how the competition is doing.
