I think you are over analysing things.
PSY are in very much a holding pattern until they break into commercialisation, of which, several sources indicate they are close to.
PSY is thinly traded at the moment because of this waiting game, and it doesn't take too much selling, or buying, to make an exaggerated SP move.
There is nothing sinister going on, the share registry is tightly held, and the future potential is massive.
