Morals are not set in stone. They change with the thoughts of the population. This SSM was inevitable, it was progressive movement that would eventually win even if it had lost this vote. It's been a while since our society shifted to accept homosexual relationships as normal, this was really just a formality. That's just the world we live in, if it ever reaches a stage where the majority of our population takes on the view that beastiality or incest is seen as a normal relationship then another progressive movement will arise. And on it goes!
