A199, you will find the input to the RO plant is a combination of bore and Aroona Dam water. You would need to ask Alinta ( now Flinders Power again) for exact details.
You will find underground aquifer 30 vast and varying flow rates of aquifers impacting groundwater of surrounding towns...the mine operation has impacted ground water levels but has not poisoned it.
I am sure in hindsight the farmers and residents of outback Queensland would go for no development over a scorched dead earth, poisoned water forever policy...
