I've got several NdFeB development professionals that I've met at conferences on my contact list, incl two Chinese manufacturers, that were saying similar things, a little more professionally, 2/3 yrs ago. I'm NOT going to quote private correspondence, but it'd sure shake you out of your complacency.
Watch & learn, nano tech is going to through up so much in the next few years that Luddites such as yourself simply can't conceptualise ATM.
