    The only positive take away is that legacy auto OEM'S are struggling, rapidly being pushed out of there most profitable market (china) for a lack of competitive EV adoption.

    5 years ago all the OEM'S made a killing in the Chinese market, but there heavily reliance on ICE and lack of heavy reinvestment into new vehicles (while gaining those profits) is coming back with a vengeance

    the positive here is if you haven't transition a decent segment of your manufacturing to EV'S and PHEV, your going to struggle to stay afloat anywhere outside the US auto market (even there the tariffs won't protect them forever)
