On Monday I lost my wallet, and there was not much of consequence of security type concerns in it, except about $120. Plus drivers licence, a debit card with minimum balance, and other bits of personal stuff like my library card etc. A PITA , so the following day (yesterday) I went the the process of cancelling/renewing all, including buying a new wallet.
Well today, in the mail I received a padded Postpak correctly addressed to me, at a cost to the sender of $4.20 with the whole lot in it except the cash.
Where I lost it was about 40 km west of where I live, yet the stamped sender was about 100 km to the the East..
There is no covering note etc, so I will just forget about it. I am bemused, that’s all.
