Having experienced honour killings first hand and what it's done to my mental health,, often boils down to frustration of justice (lack there of) and primitive state of mind...along side a primitive judicial procedure!!
won't go into great detail here for fear of been called a racist... But reminds me of "Droit du seigneur" or the English translation "Prima Nocta" where it's best to breed the savage out over generations rather than to eliminate the threat directly..
