Here in Vic the blame can be laid at the feet of the legal profession which, after a so called inquiry, suggested extended opening hours for liquor outlets. Only now, many years after the inquiry and recent violent incidents, is the person responsible for this suggestion, admitting it might have been one big mistake.
Does the legal profession have any common sense?
It just brought out the violence and alcoholism that was already there. Shows how backward the West still is.
