Was it the Socialist Left that stuffed Victoria? I am not sure about that.
Remember that the State Bank Tricontinental arm as being run by entrepreneurs who ultimately caused the fire sale of the State Bank of Victoria for half a song. I would reckon that these smarties would most likely be Liberals, opportunists - just like the smarties on Wall street would be Conservatives. Fair enough, there should have been adequate supervision in Victoria - just as there should have been of late in the majority of the world's banks.
