Kowalik #1R Operations Update
The drilling operations on this well are now complete. The well was drilled to a depth of 18,132ft, providing approximately 6,500 ft of horizontal section within the reservoir. This is the longest horizontal well that Aurora has participated in to date and is part of the ongoing efforts to further optimize the economics of each well. The production casing string has now been run and cemented in place and the rig is demobilizing from this location. This well will be fracture stimulated, in a similar fashion to the other Aurora wells within the Eagle Ford Shale trend, in due course.

The fracture stimulation of the Kowalik #1R well is presently underway. There are a total of 23 stages planned along approximately 6,500 ft of horizontal reservoir exposure. Aurora will provide the market with an update when the well has cleaned up.

So given that the well was completed over 2 months ago and the frac stimulation was already underway nearly 3 weeks ago i would expect an update anyday now.

This is the problem, their are'nt enough fraccing teams to keep up with the drilling, this may change if we get our full time frac crew next year.
