An interesting and promising bit of news, but surely not price sensitive.
The ASX might have initially thought the announcement was price sensitive when it read the heading "Launch of GoConnect Century City Walk Free WiFi Marketing platform."
They might have understood it as one would a newspaper headline - "Launch of Saturn rocket to Jupiter", i.e. it is up, up and away.
But when ASX read further into the announcement they would have seen that it was an announcement about a routine bit of business - an agreement to set up another WiFi outlet in the future.
But here's hoping for multiple announcements of completed WiFi installations. I agree with Toono that if GCN gets a reputation for delivery then other customers may turn to them rather than look for other companies.
On another matter, how do we get "3 million audience members" for WiFi at Flinders St Station, Jam Factory and City Walk? And over what period of time? Over a year perhaps.
Yet I thought the population of Melbourne is 4 million. Do three quarters of them visit the three venues in question - with their mobiles and laptops?
