There is nothing better than a great surround sound and great music, which may differ according to taste!! (no Heavy Metal for me )
The best sound I remember was in my former home which had a wooden floor and an empty cellar underneath - a school 'muso' school mate of my - then - kids, just playing playing Spanish tunes felt like being in the Alhambra - and the B. & O. sound system also performed perfectly. I remember setting off a chorus of birds by having the terrace door open and playing one of those lark pieces, I cannot now remember if it was the English one or one of those Eastern European tunes - but it was fun. Also had a cat who would sit on an armchair right underneath one of the speakers when playing a certain Mozart violin concerto - Seems so unreal now . . . Taurisk
