Ok, current demand is outstripping supply, but what if their research is successful and they find ways to use less rare earths, not only for wind turbines but all or most applications. What will that do for future demand?
It's a great article and I would love to see future demand for rare earths continue to increase, but it gets you thinking about what role rare earths may play in the future; expanded use or replaced altogether?
