yes - Labor vote has collapsed in Victoria! Brumby now in caretaker mode - although he's acting as if he's still
in Government. Arrogant as usual.

Yet here again we have the same picture as Federally -

Liberal candidates well ahead on Primary votes - in one seat (which WAS safe Labor previously, now 45% to 38% in favor of Libs on first preferences) yet the labor candidate still wins the seat on Greens preferences~!

It's crazy!

Greens have won NO seats by the look of it. In fact, their vote is well down. IS this the beginning of the end for the Greens?

Result will be clear when postals and pre-polls (which are huge quantities) are counted in close seats. But looking good for the Liberals - and a stunning victory, considering no seats were lost by Labor in Victoria in the last Federal election. I would say that lots of people don;t like what they're seeing on the Federal scene with the LAbor/Greens Alliance.

It's also a stunning result for Ted Baillieu as he made the brave decision NOT to preference any Greens candidates. Several Labor Ministers have only held their seats today courtesy Greens preferences.

So a fantastic day for the Libs - considering what we were up against.

BTW - who was the Labor Party Candidate's supporter who was allegedy seen stuffing a box of Greens how-to-vote cards in his car boot and taking them home early this morning, by a very reliable source?? Naughty naughty!!

As it happened, looks as if the Liberals have won that seat - but the Greens' candidate, and their HO, were informed of this (alleged) shenanigans - out of decency and a sense of fair-play - by a disgusted Liberal supporter! Labor up to their dirty tricks again!

Makes you what has perhaps gone on elsewhere at other booths in the dirty tricks department doesn't it!

Let's hope we can trust the vote counters!
