    Seeing as the Gov needs the green vote to govern, that looks like big trouble to me, especially given the greens' propensity for narrow short-term views.

    Looks like the government may have realised the greens are on the same shaky ground as the independents for future re-election.

    IMO, both greens and independents will want to have their maximum time in the sun and so are less likely to upset the government even if they don't get their own way.

    Without the balance of power (or the fear of losing it), greens and independents are somewhat insignificant.
