it is speculative stock for mums and dads. For institutions they have a straddle because they probably know exactly how much is going through the tills and can play this live taking advantage of the lack of communication compared to the known fundamentals or till takings. Current price action off the back of zero announcements would be mostly institutional and a reasonable indicator of short term direction.
Sometimes they just buy hoping for a hampster dance...
