As I've said before, after a token payment to shareholders, the temptation to spend most of the money on a "strategic acquisition" will be overwhelming. And just think of the new higher directors remuneration they will be able to pay themselves! And the extra corporate travel, and more board meetings and fees and drinks and free lunches and bonuses and free director options and how slick it will be - all for the benefit of the shareholders of course!

You're kidding yourselves if you think company directors are that concerned with the trivial lives of mere shareholders.
