yeah I noticed, was sceptical at first but looks like a good deal. TBR loaned RND the gold that they had to pay back through the rights issue which TBR underwrote - IMO it looks to be at arms length, dilution for RND holders and now TBR hold more of those producing mines.
If I were an RND holder I would have preferred this to have gone to sophisticated / SPP with a record date in the future - only because liquidity in RND would have improved. I can see RND and TBR merging to reduce reporting costs and merge synergies. Maybe this will be paid for by TBR stock and that's why management don't want this to rise yet (evident by their lack of promos)
Better than my previous wife wants half theory, real merit this one.
