I also felt that they were starting to get the merger together but the big catalyst for me was when they trimmed the board and management. I think that's really set them up and I'm expecting a lot more from them this year.
It sounds like we have a similar approach to stock selection although I have a tendency to buy in too early as I did here although it's a very deep green for me now.
After gorging on undervalued stocks from May to September I've been struggling to find anything like the same opportunities. The best I can come up with is topping up on already recovered stocks so if you see anything interesting please ping me on the relevant thread.
I'll do my own due diligence before taking a dip. As per SRG I tend to go back through a selection of reports (up to 10 years) as well as look at historical comments on here.
