I think the problem is our market is in the precarious position where it has to make the call of weather the US has factored in the downgrade or not & just going by US future markets is not really a very good guide considering it will be 12 hours before the real market opens....
A wildly volatile market last night with large rapid swings through the session in wide range - it could easily of burnt both bulls & bears -- pretty good flush but who's got the upper hand now ---- NO IDEA
I couldn't make up my mind with what path it would follow last night either - and i guess now it's much the same call for our market Monday
