Alright firstly i don't think this is anything like 1987, but I'll blame whoever started the "Black Friday" thread yesterday for making me think about it now..... lol
This is from my post up the thread further -
"I think the problem is our market is in the precarious position where it has to make the call of weather the US has factored in the downgrade or not & just going by US future markets is not really a very good guide considering it will be 12 hours before the real market opens....
So now taking this view & then remembering that in 1987 "Black Monday" on Wall Street really became "Black Tuesday" in Australia based on the time differences.....
Whats the chances we make the wrong assumption on Monday only to be snapped back into reality Tuesday ?
No opinion just rambling after a few wines
