Not sure what you are implying here. Are you suggesting the bid might fall over? I would be very surprised as itq looks to be an absolute bargain and a perfect acquisition for for tabcorp. But i would be keen to hear your reasoning.

My take is it's more likely just someone wanting to use their funds elsewhere, there is only 2% or so left in this. For someone else though they liked the look of risk free 2% for a few months - not a bad annual rate. Maybe another bidder trying to pick up a few, let's hope so.
