The only reason I will be sending my kids to a catholic school is for the education. By year 10 If they have no interest in science, maths or going to uni they can go to a public school to get a certificate.
I went to uni with a few successful public school grads but the majority are private. You don't spend thousands of $$$ a year to send your kid to private school and accept they they can't be bothered doing their homework or study. Push push push, life isn't easy.
