Ross got outplayed - simple as that. The sad thing is that half of the HC gurus here picked it long before it started (some earlier than others). Some even offered game point suggestions to turn the co back into Ross's control. Turning point for me was the RP purchase - had nothing to do with MVH imo. If they needed cash they should have hit the shareholders up via a rights/SPP issue imo. Obviously the attachment to their current holdings affected that decision making process.
Oh well lessons learned for Ross (and all).
Taking the directorship personally combined with the trending mateship of the board distorted egos and left RH and the co vulnerable - by no means an ethical error on his part imo
Funding will still follow RH imo since his integrity throughout this has been upheld. Would like to see him resurface somewhere else - even if its in a non-exec role.
As for MVH - possibly an asset sale/change of direction imo. Pure speculation though.
