I dont disagree about Telstra management, i think if they split out infraco and become 2 companies, it might help to bring management closer to the ground, and also simplify their job and make decision making easier.
At the moment are they are Telco, Infrastructure Company wanting to be Tech company, they arent getting the synergies from diversity that they should have gotten, so its just all a big fail and it would be better if they just outsource.
An example is the marketing company they sold (sensi i think), and content delivery network they gave away (Gigya) because it wasnt making money, then they write down Foxtel to nothing because they are high cost and cant compete with netflix etc. If they have a marketing company and CDN maybe they could have fixed foxtel.
Telstra need to radically simplify there business, at the moment they are just radically simplifying their products, they dont see the big picture...
