I try and avoid phoning Telstra because of the terrible service. Last time I called them I got shunted from one staff member in a certain department to another.
I called into a Telstra branch today some two hours from where I live. I made an appointment for an hour and a half subsequent to that. I turned up and I spoke to a consultant about getting a phone repaired that was fairly new and had just broken despite it being claimed as being tough!
They reckon no warranty of course but apparently that is not surprising ......but it was claimed can be dropped from a metre and a half , I broke screen from about half the distance!
But the really disappointing thing was how they refused to take my phone to repair it. I had made an appointment with a consultant, but apparently I should’ve made it with a technician and there was only one in the store and he was booked up. I got to speak to the technician and I was so lucky because he was so busy, busy, busy. Apparently he did not have time to do the paperwork to send it away, which might have taken all of one minute if Telstra was organised because I bought the phone through them and we have all our business and other phones and Internet through them so if they were organised they would have a form that can print off on the Internet that was nearly pre-filled and I will just have to sign!
