They stay in business because what the hell else are you going to do? even if you get another provider - its still a telstra tech that needs to connect it for you.... TLS owns the copper networks... thats what you Karen fail to understand.
TLS is not going anywhere as long as the own the infrastructure all other providers have to lease from them.
TPG is subpar in its own infrastructure and OPTUS only has its HSD network in some sydney and melbourne suburbs.
Everything else is owned by telstra.
