the numbers are even worse... Ive redone the mental arithmetic..... The turbines output is 1.5 Gigawatts!!!! The BEVs are most certainly cooked in that contest.
Additionally it is likely most of the power stored on the BEVs is produced with non "renewables" currently. Not everyone with a BEV has a fast charge system at home and would regularly top up at a charge point somewhere during a lengthy trip. I doubt the renewables fairy provided that power from renewables only electricity.
