horrific live animal export trade

I have just seen a promo for tonight's Four Corner programme about the horrifically cruel treatment given to Australian live stock in Indonesian slaughter houses. It shocked me to my core.

After I read about the dreadful Egyptian abattoirs, I gave up eating meat. But this is only a token gesture. Can anyone tell me how I can support the banning of this diabolical trade?

I believe that there will be a private member's bill introduced into Parliament shortly. Who is behind this?
