I don't understand OMS or the reference to the slave trade.
My point was that Australian authorities should have been monitoring these facilities.
The journey to Indonesia is a relatively short one and cattle can be transported humanely provided the cattle are treated properly when they arrive there.
As far as processing locally it sounds good except that no one wants to work in an abbatoir in Australia. The local works can never get enough workers.Looks like there's a good opening there for someone.If you want to buy one the works at Killarney has been in receiver's hands for a while now.Many have gone broke - it's a very low margin business.
